VW gets the dogs out for its Super Bowl Advert
Volkswagen is planning a new Star Wars themed advert for the Super Bowl, this time with dogs singing the Star Wars theme. It may not be a big deal for us on this side of the Pond, but adverts in the Super Bowl are a very big deal for car makers in the US. Last year Volkswagen managed a viral hit with their ‘Little Vader’ take on Star Wars for the Super Bowl Ad, so they’re back this year with a variation on the same theme, with a choir of dogs barking out the Star Wars Theme.
Rally and gymkhana driver Ken Block is torturing tires with a Ford Fiesta these days. So our Microsoft friends at Turn 10 Studios, makers of Forza Motorsport 3, have their version of Block and his rally Fiesta sliding their way around some open space and through the warehouse available for viewing. Lamborghini has unveiled the limited edition Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, a new entry-level model, and its first rear-wheel drive supercar since the Diablo. The Italian supercar company has long promised that all its cars will resolutely remain four-wheel drive, but it’s building the two-wheel drive LP550-2 (hence the name) to celebrate its legendary test driver Valentino Balboni. Just 250 will be built.
